Peter Redman, our wonderful exercise physiologist assists individuals of all ages by providing treatment and rehabilitation plans with evidence based exercise and lifestyle behaviour modification programs for a number of conditions, which may include, but are not limited to:

  • Chronic disease management – osteoporosis, rheumatoid arthritis, depression, PTSD, cancer, obesity, asthma, diabetes and cardiovascular disease,
  • Musculoskeletal conditions and injuries
  • Work related injuries and rehabilitation program
  • Falls prevention
  • Post surgery and joint replacements
  • Chronic pain
  • Stress, anxiety and depression

Peter’s fees are $75 per 30 minute session. Medicare, DVA and Health Fund rebates may apply.

If you are eligible for an Enhanced Primary Care Program or EPC, you can attend a session with a rebate. Each of these sessions is one on one and will allow you to explore options for physical activity and educate you how movement can help manage your particular health conditions. You will require a referral from your doctor with as much clinical information as possible.

DVA Health card holders (Gold and White) are accepted as payment upon a GP or specialist referral on a D904 slip or doctors letterhead. Before attending an appointment you will need to see your GP or specialist to obtain a referral to see the Exercise Physiologist with as much clinical information as possible. Each of these sessions is one on one or a group session and will allow you to explore options for physical activity and educate you how movement can help manage your particular health conditions or post-acute exercise rehabilitation for individuals recovering from major injury or illness.

Bookings can be made direct with Peter through his mobile number 0401 962 800 or you can contact the Physiologix Reception via the “contact us” page of this website.completed a degree in Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology with Honours at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in 2012 whilst working as a Personal Trainer.  He has experience working with patients at St Andrews Hospital Cardiac Rehabilitation and Wesley Hospital Back Rehabilitation in cardiopulmonary, metabolic, neuromuscular, neurological and musculoskeletal conditions.

Previously Peter was in the Royal Australian Air Force for 12 years with 3 years as a Fitness Instructor. With this experience he knows and understands the defence lifestyle and is passionate about helping current serving and ex-service defence personnel.

He is passionate about the delivery of exercise, lifestyle and behavioural modification programs for the prevention, treatment and management of chronic diseases and injuries. He believes that working with other health professionals for a collaborative approach to health, delivers optimal outcomes whilst utilising the latest research.

He also continues to work annually with the QUT Wellness Program, providing health assessments and appraisals for their senior leaders. He enjoys contributing and seeing the programs success and the positive health improvements for the individuals.
